After crocheting so many pillows recently I felt I still need a new one, a flower-shaped pillow that I haven’t made yet. Finally I ended up with three 😊: When I finished with the first one (on the left), I thought it would be better with wider petals, so made a second one (in the… Continue reading Crazy – daisy pillows

Hug the rainbow
While I am working on something, just crochet or trying to make a new design, many cases I find something so cute that I want to crochet right away.... 😊 In such cases I stop what I’m doing, and start something new... that is not really good, but in some cases it helps to find… Continue reading Hug the rainbow
Preparation for school costume party
This year my son asked for a dr Strange costume that he wanted to wear at the yearly costume party in the school. First I thought it will be a too big challenge, but then could put something together and my son loved it: He had a pair of blue trousers already to that I… Continue reading Preparation for school costume party
Who has birthday among us?
I (re)started crocheting a few years ago, when my son was born, and made toys, hats, boots for him. Since then I’ve made a lot of things, but almost everything for my kids (sometimes for myself, or my wider family, or just to try out a new technique, to test if I can design something… Continue reading Who has birthday among us?
Doll in giraffe outfit
While I’m working on a crocheted piece or design, sometimes I come across with an other thing I could make, for example a cute amigurumi figure I cannot resist temptation to start to crochet immediately. 😊 This happened with this doll in giraffe outfit I found here: https://amigurumi.today/free-amigurumi-doll-in-giraffe-outfit-crochet-pattern/ It was easy to crochet, and I’m… Continue reading Doll in giraffe outfit
Cloud pillow
After the stars, the moon and the heart shaped pillows, I made a cloud pillow as well. 😊 I reworked the pattern of the clouds I made for the hot air balloon wall hanger, enlarged it and made a few changes to be suitable for the yarn I used for the pillow. https://neridacraft.com/2021/01/05/hot-air-balloons-in-the-clouds/ Size: it’s… Continue reading Cloud pillow
Heart pillow
Just one more pillow to show: a heart-shaped one! I crocheted this using the pattern from here: https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=5077&cid=17 Actually I used the same yarn (Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100 polyester; 100g - 120mt/131 yds; hook size 4.5 mm)) as for my other pillows, and a 4.5 mm crochet hook. I love it! 😊 Cheers, Judit
Diamond painting
I recently finished my first picture called ‘Sparkle Garden Crimson’ made with diamond painting. Actually this technique is much easier than I first thought, all you need to finish such a picture if you have a set is time, and lot of patience. 😊 I loved it so much that I already started a new… Continue reading Diamond painting
Moon pillow
A few months ago I posted on crocheted star pillows I made; https://neridacraft.com/2020/11/07/star-pillows/ today I finished the pattern for the Moon pillow as well. 😊 It’s actually much easier than the stars, and can be done pretty fast. I used the same yarn, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, as for the stars, and a 4.5 mm crochet… Continue reading Moon pillow
‘Dreamcatcher’ purse and scarf
I crocheted a ‘dreamcather’ pillow a few months ago, and I still love that pattern so much, I decided to try that technique in a straight version, not in a round form. I decided to make a small crocheted purse using that pattern, still worked in rounds, but making that straight. Here is my pillow:… Continue reading ‘Dreamcatcher’ purse and scarf
