While I am working on something, just crochet or trying to make a new design, many cases I find something so cute that I want to crochet right away.... π In such cases I stop what Iβm doing, and start something new... that is not really good, but in some cases it helps to find… Continue reading Hug the rainbow

Who has birthday among us?
I (re)started crocheting a few years ago, when my son was born, and made toys, hats, boots for him. Since then Iβve made a lot of things, but almost everything for my kids (sometimes for myself, or my wider family, or just to try out a new technique, to test if I can design something… Continue reading Who has birthday among us?
Doll in giraffe outfit
While Iβm working on a crocheted piece or design, sometimes I come across with an other thing I could make, for example a cute amigurumi figure I cannot resist temptation to start to crochet immediately. π This happened with this doll in giraffe outfit I found here: https://amigurumi.today/free-amigurumi-doll-in-giraffe-outfit-crochet-pattern/ It was easy to crochet, and Iβm… Continue reading Doll in giraffe outfit
Cloud pillow
After the stars, the moon and the heart shaped pillows, I made a cloud pillow as well. π I reworked the pattern of the clouds I made for the hot air balloon wall hanger, enlarged it and made a few changes to be suitable for the yarn I used for the pillow. https://neridacraft.com/2021/01/05/hot-air-balloons-in-the-clouds/ Size: itβs… Continue reading Cloud pillow
Heart pillow
Just one more pillow to show: a heart-shaped one! I crocheted this using the pattern from here: https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=5077&cid=17 Actually I used the same yarn (Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100 polyester; 100g - 120mt/131 yds; hook size 4.5 mm)) as for my other pillows, and a 4.5 mm crochet hook. I love it! π Cheers, Judit
Moon pillow
A few months ago I posted on crocheted star pillows I made; https://neridacraft.com/2020/11/07/star-pillows/ today I finished the pattern for the Moon pillow as well. π Itβs actually much easier than the stars, and can be done pretty fast. I used the same yarn, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, as for the stars, and a 4.5 mm crochet… Continue reading Moon pillow
Hot air balloons in the clouds
A few months ago we made papier-mache balloons with the kids: https://neridacraft.com/2020/07/02/papier-mache-balloons That time I decided that I will crochet balloons... and I finished them today! I made 6 finally, all using the same pattern (see below), but with slight changes and different colours to make them attractive.π I saw similar hot air balloons on… Continue reading Hot air balloons in the clouds
Chenille gnomes
As promised in my previous post about christmas gomes, let me share here my gnomeβs pattern. https://neridacraft.com/2020/12/22/christmas-gnomes/ As I wanted to make a bigger one than those I made in the above collection, I used a thicker yarn, and a 4,5 mm crochet hook. First I made one using similar colours as the previous ones… Continue reading Chenille gnomes
Christmas gnomes
Last week I thought itβs time to crochet a Christmas gnome. I made one, then a second one, and I loved them so much I had to make an other one, and finally I could not stop... π The result is that I have more than 20 amigurumi gnomes now. π Here they are together… Continue reading Christmas gnomes
Deer Rudolf
Just an other cute amigurumi from page Amigurumi Today I just finished: https://amigurumi.today/christmas-crochet-deer-rudolph-free-pattern/ Last week when I made the baby penguin from this page, I saw this pattern as well I decided to make immediately. π Attaching the legs to the body was a bit tricky, this way the legs are moveable, so I became… Continue reading Deer Rudolf
