After crocheting so many pillows recently I felt I still need a new one, a flower-shaped pillow that I haven’t made yet. Finally I ended up with three 😊: When I finished with the first one (on the left), I thought it would be better with wider petals, so made a second one (in the… Continue reading Crazy – daisy pillows

Cloud pillow
After the stars, the moon and the heart shaped pillows, I made a cloud pillow as well. 😊 I reworked the pattern of the clouds I made for the hot air balloon wall hanger, enlarged it and made a few changes to be suitable for the yarn I used for the pillow. https://neridacraft.com/2021/01/05/hot-air-balloons-in-the-clouds/ Size: it’s… Continue reading Cloud pillow
Heart pillow
Just one more pillow to show: a heart-shaped one! I crocheted this using the pattern from here: https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=5077&cid=17 Actually I used the same yarn (Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100 polyester; 100g - 120mt/131 yds; hook size 4.5 mm)) as for my other pillows, and a 4.5 mm crochet hook. I love it! 😊 Cheers, Judit
Diamond painting
I recently finished my first picture called ‘Sparkle Garden Crimson’ made with diamond painting. Actually this technique is much easier than I first thought, all you need to finish such a picture if you have a set is time, and lot of patience. 😊 I loved it so much that I already started a new… Continue reading Diamond painting
Moon pillow
A few months ago I posted on crocheted star pillows I made; https://neridacraft.com/2020/11/07/star-pillows/ today I finished the pattern for the Moon pillow as well. 😊 It’s actually much easier than the stars, and can be done pretty fast. I used the same yarn, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, as for the stars, and a 4.5 mm crochet… Continue reading Moon pillow
Hot air balloons in the clouds
A few months ago we made papier-mache balloons with the kids: https://neridacraft.com/2020/07/02/papier-mache-balloons That time I decided that I will crochet balloons... and I finished them today! I made 6 finally, all using the same pattern (see below), but with slight changes and different colours to make them attractive.😊 I saw similar hot air balloons on… Continue reading Hot air balloons in the clouds
Plaster crafts
We have some plaster moulds (mainly with vehicles, dinosaurs, and other animals) we love to play with the kids. Here are some of their works made. I helped to create the shapes, then had to wait for the plaster to dry... next day the kids could paint them. 😊 On this page I found instructions… Continue reading Plaster crafts
Star pillows
These pillows had been on my (quite long) to-do list for a long time. I finished them a few months ago, and since then these pillows are the kids’ favourites.😊 I used yarn “Himalaya Dolphin Baby”, and this was the first time I tried this type, a micro-polyester chenille yarn. I really enjoyed working with… Continue reading Star pillows
Busy boards for kids
A few years ago I made an activity board for my kids. They loved to play with that and as it’s still in use, I decided to renovate it a bit, as some of the parts had broken or fallen off. Originally I took a huge wooden panel, fixed it on the wall, and then… Continue reading Busy boards for kids
Dreamcather again – as a pillow
Crocheted pillow case Last week I sewed more round pillows as I wanted to crochet covers for them using different yarns and techniques. 😊 In my previous post I wrote about how I made them here. Today I finished the next crocheted pillow cover, inspired by the dreamcathers I made previously: Dreamcather again - now… Continue reading Dreamcather again – as a pillow
