Last week I thought itβs time to crochet a Christmas gnome. I made one, then a second one, and I loved them so much I had to make an other one, and finally I could not stop… π The result is that I have more than 20 amigurumi gnomes now. π
Here they are together in one picture:

I collected the links to the patterns I used. All of them I crocheted using the same yarns and crochet hook. So there style and size can be compared, you may select your favourite and itβs still not late to make one before Christmas.π
The yarns I used:
Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton/45% acrylic; 100g – 330mt/361 yds; hook size 3,5-5 mm)
DMC Mellow (50% Nylon, 50% Polyester; 67 meters / 100 grams) : fur texture
Crochet hook 3 mm

And the patterns:

This one I could not find in English, but after making a few of these, it was not a problem. For the legs dc2togβs used as shown in the chart, to shape the hat slst stitches used instead of scβs.
Though all the above patterns are easy to follow and can be made fast, I think for me this last one worked the best… so I decided to make a similar type of gnome using a thicker yarn (to make the gnome bigger).
So inspired by the above pattern(s), but completely reworked I made the below figure:

Iβll share the pattern and add pictures in my next post. π
Cheers,
Judit
